What is your email service and how does it work?

When you register we create a unique ID for you. Subscribing to the email service means we forward any messages sent to you keeping your own details anonymous. 

Our Email forwarding service means we forward all emails to your registered address automatically. To send an email you would use your normal everyday account (possibly Hotmail, AOL etc....)  the details of which would be visible to any recipient.

Note: If you do not subscribe to the email service then the person trying to contact you pays a small delivery fee.

Our Full Email service - provides you with a Web Mail account that allows you to send to a recipient from an " @skillsstockroom " email address - keeping your private details private.

 
Why have you developed yet another people searching website when there are lots of networking sites already ?
Our site is different from all the others we have found. The main differences are: You can be found by your old details as well as current, and your private details are never displayed. Contact is through our anonymous service.

We feel that the system fits a particular niche especially in current the economic  climate.
Why should  I use your service ?
We value privacy and so do most people; the way we work is different to many contact databases and social networking sites. In our opinion, these sites are much more open and less secure in terms of access to information or method of working. By charging a nominal fee for emails we also discourage non-serious users.
What if I have multiple "old" contact details, can I add more than one old email or mobile number ?
Yes, Just add them to the boxes with a space in between each one.
What if I don't have any "old" details ?
Just sign up with your current details in the second part of the registration form. 
My search reveals more than one person on your database but I am unsure of which one I need to contact ?
This should not happen very often if you use the searches correctly. Try different search criteria If it does, then send us mail at  duplicates@skillsstockroom.com with details of your search criteria and any more information you may have about the person you are trying to contact and we will try to assist. Our paramount concern is to keep their contact details private so we will contact them on you behalf - there may be charges associated with this but you will be advised of those at the time.
I'm confused about the email services. Can you explain the difference and also why there is charge ?
The standard service is free to register but we charge a $2 fee to anyone who wants to send you a message, this may deter people contacting you so to encourage free contact from the searcher you can pay for our email forwarding service, which automatically forwards emails to you, unchecked, at no cost to the searcher/sender.

NOTE:  when you receive an email and want to respond - by sending a response from your normal email method you divulge your private email address to the other person. You may want to have an anonymous web mail account from us to keep your details private even when you send a message as well as receive one. 
Can I request my details be removed from your database ?
Yes just contact us and we will confirm your request by sending an email to your registered email address prior to deletion to avoid any fraudulent activity.
What happens if someone contacts me through your system - do I have to respond and how ?
The short answer is, its up to you...... We allow people to contact you without them ever knowing your real details. They have to know at least 2 correct things about you and even then all they get is an icon to send you an email. You decide if, when and how you respond. Our email service works in two ways - inbound and outbound. If for example you receive a contact email from someone you want to respond to, but don't want to give them your private contact details, you can use our web mail service to make contact - any replies to this will then come back through our servers so you keep your own details private.

Note: We do have to monitor the number of mails sent from your account to prevent misuse by spammers
I've found someone  - how do I contact them and what do I say ?
You will see the   or icon. Clicking on this will display their unique email address and normally call up your email client. Messages should include an introduction of who you are, why you are contacting the person and your contact details, should they want to get in touch with you.

= On sending your mail you receive and email from our servers which will link you to our payment pages. We will deliver your mail on receipt of your payment
